A Journey from Rock Bottom to Rocking the BlockIn the heart of Conyers, Georgia, just outside the noise of the city, stands a storefront unlike any other. It’s colorful. It’s alive. It buzzes with music, laughter, and the voices of entrepreneurs chasing dreams. This is My Milk and Money, and behind its name is a woman who’s rewritten her story on her own terms.
Before the magazine. Before the storefront. Before the community hub that now nurtures over 20 businesses—Khari Mightly was a woman facing her hardest chapter. She was a new mother. Recently separated. Her career as a childcare director had ended. Her finances were shaky. Her confidence—shakier.
“I couldn’t wrap my head around one thing good before the next thing hit me,” she recalls. “It was like I was in a storm that wouldn’t stop.”And yet, in the middle of the chaos—Khari birthed something beautiful. Not just her first son, King, but a concept that would eventually become a movement.
“I remember thinking, ‘How do I do this? How do I raise a baby and still build a business?’ That’s where the name came from—my milk, my money. That’s what I had. That’s what I needed.”From that moment, My Milk and Money was born—not just as a business, but as a symbol of resilience, motherhood, and community empowerment.
What began as a small dance studio and pop-up space has now transformed into a full-scale retail hub, and in 2024, it birthed yet another dream: HUBB Magazine. We sat down with Khari Mightly to talk about her journey, her mission, and what it really means to build legacy while raising kings—literally.
"As a small business owner, being featured in The Hubb Magazine gave me the exposure I didn’t know I needed. The team is professional, passionate, and truly invested in uplifting the community. I’ve made meaningful connections that are still growing today."
"My Milk & Money is more than a platform—it's a lifeline. I came here looking for motivation and ended up finding a community of people who genuinely care. The stories in The Hubb Magazine are so real and relatable, I see myself in every page."
"Every time I visit the My Milk & Money website, I feel inspired. From the blog posts to the events and magazine features, it’s like walking into a digital space built just for me. It reminds me that I’m not alone on this journey."
